Our mission
Via l’anse is a community organization which goal is to prevent domestic violence by intervening on the persons at risk of violent behaviors, and through sensitization, participation in research, and training workshops.
Via l’anse services cover the regions of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Suroît, and Haut Saint Laurent.
Objectives of our interventions
_ To help participants recognize the violent behaviors
_ To help participants realize and assess the consequences of that violence
_ To enhance motivation to change
_ To guide participants through their process of change
_ To help participants develop and maintain abilities conducive to non-violence
